Future challenges to be faced by public swimming pools in Catalonia
The Consell Català de l'Esport will meet in a round table discussion with the Diputació de Barcelona, the City Council of Tarragona and the Institut Barcelona Esports de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona to share the challenges for the future of public swimming pools in Catalonia.
Based on the analysis of the current situation in the different administrations, the round table will discuss the lessons learned from the pandemic and explain how swimming pools should be in the 21st century, exemplified by the projects they are developing. This transparency exercise is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal SDG 17, which establishes the need to build partnerships to achieve them.
